# About GoalMate

GoalMate is a UK multi-sport coaching marketplace founded to solve the fragmentation problem in sports coaching. Coaches have historically managed their businesses across Instagram, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and bank transfers. Customers have had no structured way to search, compare, or book. GoalMate brings it all into one platform.

## What We Do

- Connect customers with verified, qualified coaches across seven sports
- Provide instant online booking with secure card payments via Stripe
- Sync sessions automatically to Google Calendar for coaches and customers
- Offer individual sessions, group sessions, and multi-week coaching packages
- Take zero commission from coaches - coaches keep 100% of their session fee

## Sports Covered

Golf, tennis, football, personal training, yoga, pilates, and cricket.

## Where We Operate

Currently live across the North West and Midlands of the UK, including Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Warrington, Salford, Birmingham, and surrounding areas.

## How We Vet Coaches

Every coach on GoalMate is verified before appearing on the platform: identity verified, qualifications reviewed, and Stripe Connect onboarding completed so payments are secure end-to-end.
