# What 'Verified Coach' Actually Means (And Why Clients Pay More for It)

*Published 15 April 2026*

Trust is the single biggest barrier between a potential client and booking their first session. They don't know you. They don't know if your qualifications are real, if you're reliable, or if you'll actually help them.
The GoalMate verified badge is designed to solve that problem - for both sides.
      What verification involves
Every coach on GoalMate goes through a verification process before their profile goes live. This includes credential checks, qualification verification, and review of coaching experience. We don't just let anyone sign up and start taking bookings. Browse our verified personal trainers in the North West or verified golf coaches in Manchester to see what a verified profile looks like.
What it means for you as a coach
A verified badge signals to every potential client that you've been checked out. It removes their biggest hesitation. Verified coaches on our platform consistently see higher conversion rates from profile views to bookings than unverified coaches on other platforms.
      What clients actually look for
When GoalMate users browse coaches, qualification and verification are consistently the top two factors they consider - above price. Clients are willing to pay more for confidence. The verified badge gives them that.
Your qualifications deserve to be seen. Get verified today.
