# GoalMate Pricing

GoalMate takes no commission and charges coaches no subscription. The platform is
funded by a service fee the client pays at checkout, on top of the coach's price.

## For coaches

- **Free to join.** No setup cost, no card required, no client limit.
- **Zero commission** on every booking type: one to one, group sessions and multi
  week packages.
- **No subscription.** There is no monthly or annual plan.
- You keep 100% of the session price you set.

## For clients

A GoalMate service fee is added at checkout:

| Session price | Service fee |
| --- | --- |
| Up to £25 | A flat £1 |
| Above £25 | 4% |

Worked example: on a £50 session the client is charged £52.99 and the coach
receives £50. Card processing is covered within that fee rather than deducted
from the coach.

## Refunds

When a session is refunded the service fee is refunded with it, in proportion to
the amount returned. A coach is never left owing a fee on a session that did not
happen. Sessions cancelled more than 24 hours ahead are refunded automatically.
