Booking Software for Cricket Coaches

Most cricket booking software books the net, not the coach. GoalMate books you.

Search for cricket booking software and almost everything you find manages facilities: lane hire, net allocation, ground bookings, membership for a club. That is useful if you run a centre. It does nothing for a self employed cricket coach trying to fill a winter of one to one sessions.

GoalMate is built around the coach. You set your session types, your prices and the hours you are actually free, and clients book and pay for your time. The venue is a detail on the booking, not the thing being sold.

It is free to join, there is no subscription, and GoalMate takes no commission. You keep 100% of the session price you set.

Why cricket coaching is badly served by booking tools

Built for how cricket coaching actually runs

What it costs

Free to join, no subscription, and no commission on any booking. You keep 100% of the session price you set. The client pays a service fee on top at checkout: a flat £1 on sessions up to £25, and 4% above that. See the full pricing breakdown.

How this compares to what else is out there

Most of what ranks for cricket booking is not aimed at you. It is aimed at whoever runs the venue, and that decides who the software treats as its customer.

Skedda

Space booking. Nets, lanes, courts and rooms, allocated across a venue.

The net gets booked. You do not. There is no profile of yours in it, no client of yours, and no payout in your name.

AllBooked and Waresport

Net and facility booking, written for clubs and indoor centres.

The account belongs to the centre. You are somebody they schedule rather than somebody they sell.

Generic schedulers such as Picktime or Bookeo

General appointment booking, with a cricket page added for search.

A block of six has to be faked, a parent booking for a child has nowhere to go, and nobody new ever finds you through it.

What you would pay elsewhere

No cricket specific booking system publishes a price. These are the two general marketplaces a cricket coach could sign up to today, and what each one would cost you.

Published prices for cricket platforms, read from each platform's own pricing page in September 2026
Platform Published price Charged per Commission Card processing
Fresha£14.95 a month solo, £9.95 per team memberPer bookable team member20% of a marketplace client's first booking, minimum £41.40% and 25p online, 1.19% and 20p in person
Booksy£40 a month, plus £5 per extra team member, all plus VATPer business, then per staff member30% of a Boost client's first visit, minimum £5Not published on the pricing page
GoalMate£0No charges to coachesNone. You keep 100% of your session priceIncluded. The client pays £1 up to £25, then 4%

Every figure above was read from the platform's own public pricing page in September 2026, and is quoted in the currency it is published in rather than converted. Published rates change, so treat this as the starting point for your own check. Where a column says none published, the platform does not state a figure on a public page.

Cricket coaching, answered

Does GoalMate book the indoor net as well as the coach?

No. GoalMate books your time and takes the payment. You keep whatever arrangement you already have with the centre or club for the facility, and the venue is recorded on the session so the client knows where to turn up.

Can I sell a six week winter block?

Yes. Multi week packages with weekly recurrence are a standard session type, so a block is one purchase for the client and a recurring set of sessions in your diary.

A parent books but the child attends. Does that work?

Yes. The account holder books and pays, and the player attending is recorded against the session, which is how most junior cricket coaching is arranged.

What does it cost?

Nothing to join, no subscription, and no commission. GoalMate is funded by a service fee the client pays on top of your price at checkout: a flat £1 on sessions up to £25, and 4% above that. On a £50 session the client pays £52.99 and you receive £50.
