No subscription, no client limit, and no trial counting down. Take bookings and get paid without spending anything to start.
When you are starting out, software is the one cost you can put off, and most trainers do. The trouble is that the free options are not one thing. Free can mean a month, or one client, or everything except the bit that takes the money.
Not a starter tier. This is the whole product.
The honest caveat, so you do not find it later: client discovery only works where we have clients, which today is the North West and the Midlands. Coach elsewhere and everything above still works, but the people will have to be yours to begin with.
Rarely at a date. Almost always at a moment in the business.

Every figure above was read from the platform's own public pricing page in September 2026, and is quoted in the currency it is published in rather than converted. Published rates change, so treat this as the starting point for your own check. Where a column says none published, the platform does not state a figure on a public page.
Read what no commission has to mean, booking software for personal trainers for how the workflow fits together, or take the cancellation policy template.
Very few. Of the platforms a UK trainer would actually consider, ABC Trainerize is the only one publishing a permanent free tier, and it stops at one client. Everything else is either a trial or a paid plan. GoalMate is free to join with no client limit, funded by a service fee the client pays at checkout rather than by charging you.
There usually is one, so it is worth naming ours. GoalMate is live across the North West and the Midlands, so if you coach outside that the booking and payment side works from day one but we will not be sending you clients yet. There is no client cap, no trial, and no feature held back.
No. You keep 100% of the price you set. The client pays a service fee on top at checkout: a flat 1 pound on sessions up to 25 pounds, and 4% above that. On a 50 pound session the client is charged 52.99 and 50 reaches you.
No. There is no tier to be moved onto and no number that triggers a bill. This is the main difference between free to join and a free tier, which exists to run out.
No. Stripe handles the payment and its processing sits inside the client service fee, so nothing is deducted from your side. Worth checking elsewhere, because processing is commonly charged on top of a headline price rather than inside it.
There is no contract and no minimum term, so nothing stops you. Your clients are yours.
