Zero Commission, No Subscription

GoalMate is free for coaches. There is no commission on any booking type, no monthly or annual subscription, and no cost to list. You keep 100% of the session price you set.

The three numbers

Where the money actually goes

Zero commission invites suspicion, so here is every line of one £50 session. Your session price is £50. A GoalMate service fee of £2.99 is added at checkout and paid by the client. The client is charged £52.99. You receive £50.

On a platform charging 15% commission the same session would pay you £42.50.

What is included

There is no paid tier to upgrade to. Everything below is on the free plan.

Pricing, answered

So GoalMate really takes nothing from my session price?

Correct. There is no commission on any booking type and no subscription. If you set a session at £50 you receive £50. The platform is funded by a service fee the client pays on top at checkout.

What is the service fee and who pays it?

The client pays it, on top of your price, at the point of booking. It is a flat £1 on sessions up to £25 and 4% above that. On a £50 session the client is charged £52.99 and you receive £50.

Are there card processing fees on top?

No. Stripe handles the payment and its processing is covered within the service fee. Nothing is deducted from your payout.

Is there a minimum term or a contract?

No. There is no contract, no minimum term and no notice period.

Does it cost anything to list if I get no bookings?

No. Listing is free and stays free. Because there is no subscription, a quiet month costs you nothing.

What happens with refunds and cancellations?

When a session is refunded the service fee is refunded with it, in proportion to the amount returned. You are never left owing a fee on a session that did not happen.
